We have been learning: to read and write words using the sound 'i e' (as in bike and like) to identify and name two digit numbers how to build a small outdoor shelter to perform a short song in front of an audience
P6/5 were tasked today with making a tic tac toe game using materials from the garden. Well done boys and girls! You showed great teamwork and were very creative.
Primary 1, Primary 2/1 and Primary 2 will work with "Kids Gone Wild" on Wednesday 22nd of January. The weather forecast looks okay but better to be prepared. Waterproof shoes have been really useful over the past couple of weeks and a spare pair of socks doesn't take up too much space.
We have been learning: to use the sound 'y' (as in fly and sky) in our reading and writing to count in tens and use this to help when adding larger numbers to learn a new song ready for our 'Burns' performance
P6/5 tuned into the BBC this morning and joined Zoe Ball and several authors for a live lesson. We were given some great ideas and tips for writing our stories. P6/5 had lots of fun outdoors this afternoon. We were tasked with building several different shelters using some materials and the local environment. We worked hard in our teams and as you can see from the photos, we were very creative. Great teamwork and successful kids! Well done P6/5. Mrs W
